Perhaps I stood too long
By the wall,
Trellis diamond printing my back.

As tendrils wound
Around the feet,
Began to love ankle
And knee,

All members and organs
Beribonned-

Face greened
Blackened and
Yellowed bee
Stung features

Grow and swell
Until

At last baldness burst
Into sun

And flower.

Oh!
Prise this spine
From mortared wall
And watch as
Petals

Soar...
