Poems
Mar 2018
Perhaps I stood
Perhaps I stood too long
By the wall,
Trellis diamond printing my back.
As tendrils wound
Around the feet,
Began to love ankle
And knee,
All members and organs
Beribonned-
Face greened
Blackened and
Yellowed bee
Stung features
Grow and swell
Until
At last baldness burst
Into sun
And flower.
Oh!
Prise this spine
From mortared wall
And watch as
Petals
Soar...
