The drive on the long road to a place that no one cares
sends a feeling to my spine and to my senses
In my eyes I see my skin erased as the rawness pulses
A million tingling nerves beating waiting for the calm to appear
Red  takes over my body as I struggle to focus on the mundane tasks

My eyes refocus and the red is gone ...
Normality resumed
A road paved in gold as pain reversed
Gone and left into the past of a moment of madness
The drive of lifelessness is ended and I want no more

These Visions have taken me to places that no-one wants
To lands where life is free-less
To places where pain is life
I close my eyes to hide these worlds
The long drive is over
