Mar 2018
A cozy summer day,
Hoping that it won’t go away.
Everything’s fine as I lay
While listening to what she says.

I will always be amazed
On how her mind works like a maze.
Attitude hidden in haze,
Beautiful like how a fire blazed.

I easily found comfort in her face–
Or should I say “in the way she moves with grace”
She will always be an elegant place–
A place where my heart and soul can freely lace.

A mother is a never-ending sunlight
On a long, tiring, and stressful summer night.
She is a woman who is worth the fight,
And a person who will inspire you to be bright.
