Dear old Mr Huggy
you made me feel safe
every night
you kept me nice and warm
when my mum put out the light

the monsters didn't frighten me
and didn't make me cry
but
I'm still sorry that I wet the bed
and out you went to dry.

Then you went to pieces
fell apart at every seam
and even now at sixty one
at times
of you I dream.
