It involves Rochdale Village partly in the mystique took
History clarifying mystery
Rochdale Village was a future to be
But there is much more to see
So just what is Rochdale Village?
A striving multi-Complex comprising of twenty buildings
It is a place I call home
It has that name that is well known
But plenty of space for everybody to roam
However, that is only part of my story
There is a station called LOCUST MANOR
It is a Long Island Railroad stop
The station is elevated high on top
What makes this station circumstance today?
Back in the 1800’s Locust Manor was the way
The difference today composed to yesteryear, the station was flat and on the ground with railroad crossing on the street
It was history where the station would meet
You could say it was a welcome greet
But there’s more
Now let me continue in my writing ways

Yes this is a known fact
People would place their bets
The winners would get money and get
So history was made
Getting out of the sun and into the shade
