I was so bad at jumping
I could not even jump to conclusions
So it was bad from the jump
Reaching eluded me
I could not reach a decision.
Let alone reach for the stars
But I sure could bite
My bite was worse than my bark
Too bad I only bite my tongue.
They told me love is blind.
I said it had eyes in the back of its head
Then they asked, What did anything you say before,
Have to do with love?
I replied, Love is what makes us jump out of bed.
And also, I said with a wink, love is what makes us jump into bed.
They murmured, Okay.
