Solve crimes in a cave
But the statute has passed
No one cares anymore
The machines are too fast
And my city is sinking
In fog of old greed
And the forests are burning
These pages I read
But the power we need
To want more out of life
To be warlords of peace
With a reason to fight
Is consuming the earth
In the names of a god
Who is merely the union
Of nature outlawed
By the ardor of martyrs
Immortal as man
Who has cradled her heart
In the palm of its hand
