He went to the fast food restaurant
And made his order
In front of some very impatient people.
The cashier said Would you like a slice of apple pie?
It is complimentary with the order
He said, No, no.
I would want an apple pie
But take out the caramel filling
We are not at a carnival
Throw away the sugar
I don’t need that negative energy in my life
And take off the crust

The cashier replied
Somewhat shocked
So basically you want an apple?!
He said, no, no,
You heard me wrong
Because you never seen a man like me on a mission.
The apple pie should have no skin
Because I have no skin in this game
Give me all the apple pies you have
Bring all the boxes with apple pies in them
Minus the filling
Minus the crust
I know what must be done
And I am the only one brave enough to do it.
She said, I’m sorry we can’t do that
We cannot help you
She said under her breath
But I think you need help.
He took his food and left.
Everyone else around wondered what must be done
And if they were brave enough to do it.
