You can convince yourself
That you can survive
But deep down, you know
Love is needed to thrive.
You can tell yourself
That you can forget
But you know you'll always
Remember the day you met.
You can say to yourself
There wasn't a spark
Because you won't accept
That someone left a mark.
I found this among other old things. I thought I'd put it online :)
