Gripped
There's something inside
That I cannot see
I'm stuck in a place I don't want to be
It grips me tightly
Words trapped in my throat
Intercepting the thoughts I later wrote
It says "why bother"
When no one else did
You're just so small and the world is so big
It says "what's the point"
You're so exhausted
Animosity burns within the tainted
I'm sorry to you
I'm sorry to me
I let out the bad for others to see
I tried to be good
By sharing a smile
But give an inch and they take a mile
