The salty cool spray hung in the air
as the waves gently broke to the shore
White feet ventured onto warm soft sand
Little hands escaped from grasps to greet the sea
This is our ocean

Squeals of laughter as icy cold water
Splashed around me from the dancing to waves
Tiny feet daring me to follow
as bucket filled shells gather to be castles  
Love is our ocean
Love in our sea  

Tiny voices half buried in the sand
Building barriers against the tide
Sea was winning  
The sea always wins
Share in our ocean

Slowly as the sand falls away
The waves regaining the beach  
Gone is the castle ..
Well just for today
