i took a trip to ireland to visit county cork
through the hills and meadows i took a little walk
sat down by a stream to watch the water flow
flowing nice and gentle flowing nice and slow.

there i met a girl she was walking too
looking the scenes with such a lovely view
my heart began to flutter as it skipped a beat
the love that i was looking for i was about to meet.

i got a funny feeling my heart began to soar
i had found the love ive been looking for
then she looked at me with eyes so blue
told her how i felt she felt the same way too.

she was looking to.  for someone in her heart
we both new together love was about to start
settled down together raised a family
happy ever after we would always be

i wont forget the day when i went county cork
and where we both met while going for walk
where i found the love i was looking for
with the girl i met. i never knew before.
