Evelyn came back to me
Came over the ocean
Over the sea
Worried that she might forget
The daddy that she'd always had.

Saw her coming across the floor
Through the airport's open doors
First a smile and then a tear
Glad to have her daddy near.

Back at home it is just the same
Just as if she'd never roamed
On the settee made for three
Evelyn, Tasha, the cats and me .

Love Evelyn to her daddy .
