I have been shining since the beginning of time
My sunrays that expel fire
The heat can bring out the romance in desire
I am the sun that goes down, and rises up every given day
It’s the closing of the previous that goes astray
Yet I am the sun that can burn
It’s like a cremation from an urn
But just don’t get too close
You could go blind to most
Now clouds will roll in from time to time
It’s weather changes that block me out
Its called metrology is what I am talking about
I was shining from the Earth’s very beginning
I have more beaming shades than any home run of a baseball inning
I am not history
However, Scientist thinks I am a mystery
They study my every move
It’s their analysis they want to prove
I bring joy when I shine because people can enjoy the outdoors
My warm rays one can never ignore
I am the shine that brings the world pure delight
I add to a good day being an excite
Shine I have
Warmth I give
Some people get upset when I shine being sensitive
But smile when I shine
Now keep that in mine.
