The stars crash and collapse.
Our time has finally past,
and I no longer wonder
if our love was really meant to last.

I don’t want to go.
I don’t want to leave.
I would like to stay
but you don’t need me.

Eternity’s a lie
we like to tell ourselves,
but the truth is sadder
cause we got played
by those madder
then the mad hatter.

I don’t want to go.
I don’t want to leave.
I would like to stay
but you don’t need me.

There is sorrow in
my spoken words,
tears in the songs
heard and unheard,
and this is the year
someone will fade.
Its okay if you want to stay.
I’ll take my leave
to end these days.

I don’t want to go.
I don’t want to leave.
I would like to stay
but you don’t need me.
