Searching for that spark again
For dark my all too willing friend
Seeps through this pen, as I the light
Become the world
And dawn my dwindling days from night
Resisting purposelessness urges
To expel emotion purges
Verses lacking luster shades, as I the waves
Become the sea
And drift so far away from me
