at the Mermaid parade; Coney Island
is obviously a paradise for nerds;
ask the gangsters on Brighton Beach

Bespectacled & goofy gamers?
How about metalhead stoners
on the front lines at Antifa rallies
throwing rocks through store windows
& idolizing the Weather Underground

The media thinks Mark Zuckerberg
is the ideal nerd & Steve Jobs was the
ultimate hipster; that plays to mass
conformity but it's a lie; Van Gogh
was a geek, Picasso a nerd; Jackson
Pollack was a nerd; Einstein a geek

Nerds write novels & poetry;
geeks have brilliant but unrealistic
ideas; a far cry from the colorless
Everyman they try to convince u to be
