Gone But Never Forgotten

A thousand times we needed you

A thousand times we cried

If love alone could have saved you

you never would have died

A purple heart and eyes of gold were layed to rest

God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best

never a day goes by that you’re not in my heart and my soul.

From our thoughts to our memories,

From our days to our nights.

From the east to the west,

From my love that I write.

Its been seven long years since we last saw you,

Seven long years of pain and sorrow.

But you remain in our hearts

For all of tomorrow’s
