only you
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2011
No flower will know of my kiss,

And no hand will know my touch-

    Together forever we soar.

    be only you

    that knows this much.

Where would they be without the legions of lost thoughts and shattered dreams.

Where be the glory in battles won ,with all witness except thee .

Where be the wisdom in a tree, without first planting its seeds .

where be love without hate.

Where be innocence lie in a guilty state.

Where be resiliant hearts when first served one torn appart.

there be light shed in ebbing dark from tunnels of life. There be scars in some parts but here be where wisdom starts.

Hello Goodbye
Dakota Lee Osan Jan 2011
Goodbye's are bitter,
more so mine.
Hello's are sweet,
until subside.
My friends are my ocean,
with bitter-sweet tides.
Some leave  hastily,
Hello, Goodbye.

Hello & How? This is why
Dakota Lee Osan Jan 2011
Hello sky,
please tell quietly,
how doesn't your beauty
match that of hers through my eyes?

Hello ocean.
please tell quietly,
how doesn't your volume
match that of mine
pertaining to the amount of love
I hold for her inside?

Hello asker,
I'll tell you quietly,
here in lies why -
she is an angel that fell from high
a beaming beckoning star
in your eye,
capturing your hearts ocean
&taking; it alive -
for she is the sole reason,
**You've survived.

Eskew to the pews of life
Dakota Lee Osan Jan 2011
eskew to the pews of life

Distorted thoughts of who is right

What is day & what is night.

How did these words come to write.

lost in a yet unknown transit,

timid to the facts, tender to the theory

blind to the faith. Brain bound weary.

    Partially Un-chosen amongst two sides,

I'd rather believe facts over a thing potentially lies

here in lies the problem, how are we alive?

But vastly bigger, how will we survive?

    declined lives of better living

withheld opportunity,we wither and we die -

try to stand, we're sat, we hurt and we cry

Will we die with lost pride & no dignity inside,

& Will we die uncertain of how life derived?

please excuse the blunt words scribed

I just wanna know how and why before life subsides.

Lilac Hills
Dakota Lee Osan Jan 2011
Golden hearts frolic on lilac hills

rolling with the landscape, as does sunset on Mt. sill

    nothing invalid, nothing untrue

prospects of no such thing as anything few.

where blue thunder rolls in lilac hue.

this place, far beyond anything anyone knew

we seek silent frills on lilac hill

where heavens eye shine not few, but all others too.

    made of love, no solitude.

As this heart of mine begins to unfold and deplore,
I am lost in the thought of just one more..One more chance to combine our hearts and soar.
One more chance for the love of ours to return forever more.
You need not do anything.
Remain present and listen.
I died in my dream last night
It was a peaceful dream,
I dreamt of seeing you and I
Which so lifted my heart and soul, way up high.
But  life is  life and a dream is a dream,
A cry is a cry and a scream is a scream
But Love isn't love, for now it's a dream.
I know, my love, that you won't come back to me
But if it should happen, if you should come to a changing mind
Give me a call and I'll see you in time
But you won't give me that, You won't have it
You've caused me great pain and you've caused me great havoc.
I have loved you once; but perhaps now i should explore
My love still lingers deep within my core.
But I do not want to cause you any pain,
So i'll grieve thee not for a moment more

The broken love that rests upon my heart burdens my soul for eternity.
I shall never again love so blindly or hope that a dim light grows strong in the presence of love.
So sure as the sun rises each day, my redden blood will never flow so strongly as if she'd thought to stay.
Love can be quaint, until it infiltrates the cells of your skin and begins to poison you, from the outside in.
For now, the pieces of my heart remains with the wind and
I shall never love as I'd  loved, ever again.

A Bleak step into my life
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
The grass is green before my feet, Yet every step i take  turns brown and bleak.
The day is strong, though seemingly weak.
I morn a feeling I've never had,or felt.
This, I cannot speak
It seems impossible to stay alive in this broken dream in which i weep
My shadow seems to exist, but i do not.
I'm traveling to a sojourn destination that which i may never meet. Happiness, Love, Tranquility, amity ; I have yet to stumble across them.
All i have to offer myself is hope, Hope that there will be a destination for my feet.
I have love to offer, lots of love, Yet i cannot fathom the thought of another lost hug,or another Lost love.
Awaken the beautiful dreamer within me and flow through gentle air the songs of a dove

*~My Life In A Blunt~*
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
Smoking a blunt or rolling a joint
doing this **** is what i enjoy
my legs are dead my body is buzzed
im trying really hard to reach the tip of my tongue
it free's my spirit and opens my mind
it leaves my worry's,  and problems behind
people think that i'm brainless and say that i'm blind
i don't care because I do what  I do. So lets get high
if you think im stupid have a good day and good-bye
because this is not your life its all fucken mine
the power that this herb holds is so divine
Take one hit and your already high
Some potent **** that'll make you fly

Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
As day turns to night,
sleep walks
and i spark into a million suns'
the sands of time reverse turn back and return.
I am burned.  with The silence of this poetic air, and
As many a man thinks the night is mystic and unworthy i think it is majestic and uncertain
I hold hands with the night as it burns away
Surpassing every feeling of love and ******. Because i know it'll be OK
A blinding vision of light begins to show
exposing the truth that i am young, but my soul grows old
Today is not the end.
For i am wounded, but i continue to go
The night heals me
It reveals to myself, things that i do not show

Walk With Me
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
As my thoughts lie dormant under cloudy skies
I will follow no man, and no man shall follow mine
We shall walk side by side in each others minds
Living through ecstasy and surprise
No more envies or demise
We shall share each others eyes
and together we can break free of cloudy skies
In our dreams we are apt more to share our lives
But let us make these dreams, come alive
behold  natures togetherness
and look how it has survived
We to should harness natures ability to be side by side.
As the sun begins to peak over early morning sky
Walk beside me to my aim
For if  we are together we can overtake any plain

Spring
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
Here it comes again,

a cool blue breeze

Accompanied by all green leaves

The air, crisp and tasteful

enters my lunges as i breath

Giving me a new breath

I am appeased

Your lifetime is short

but Well loved

I sit and relax

All Thanks To The Man Above

You & I
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
As the day grows old

So do I

The worlds spinning

and so am I

The day is spent

wasting time

But only one thing matters

And

That’s

You & I

Gone But Never Forgotten
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
A thousand times we needed you

A thousand times we cried

If love alone could have saved you

you never would have died

A purple heart and eyes of gold were layed to rest

God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best

never a day goes by that you’re not in my heart and my soul.

From our thoughts to our memories,

From our days to our nights.

From the east to the west,

From my love that I write.

Its been seven long years since we last saw you,

Seven long years of pain and sorrow.

But you remain in our hearts

For all of tomorrow’s

This That I Have
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
I am Sewn through eternity with the thread of forever and the needle of always.
If this that I have for you could be expressed tangibly, we would need a bigger universe – for it will not fit in its small infinity.
If this that i have for you could be expressed in words, I would need a bigger vocabulary.
If this that i have for you could be expressed to the fullest extent in any way, shape, or form, it would take a lifetime of infinitive seconds, minutes, hours, and days to tell this that is my love for you.

Love's Fatel Demise
Dakota Lee Osan Mar 2010
As I had risen to the heavens,
and kissed an angel upon silver clouds of  admiration,
like turned to  love , for we were fated.
Every rising of the sun seemed powered by our uncompromising love, and our lust as strong.
Our love was our anthem, our love was our song.
Our love was mile upon mile, and forever strong
But in existence, something was altered,  your love changed, our love had faultered.
I am now in pain.
As before, I held you deep within my tear stained heart, two were one, and now one departs...I never even pictured, Our love's fatal demise, only the good parts, but again i shall rise!
