Feeding It...
The squirrel sits at my doorstep,
Begging for my food,
Not afraid of me,
But I’m afraid of it.
How can a tiny creature,
Something this small,
Make me scared for my life,
As it stares into my soul.
Even as I try to close the door,
It won't let me step away,
Even if I want to go,
It won't let me step away.
Stop.
I don’t want to do this.
Help.
I can’t stop.
Please.
Someone close the door.
As the person who wrote this, it's easy to understand it from my point of view...
