Pale reflections
Shadows that linger longer
New understandings
In an already muddled mind
Madness comes easy to the man
who holds the centre of the world in his palms
Before you turn from me
Without reason
Remember what you were doing here in the first place
Cry to release what you know you can not hold onto
You lie so sweetly
To your self you are only the fool at the edge
Hold me
For I am no stronger than the man you see in the mirror
And only when you accept yourself
Will I admit that you are the better part of me
