Let Go
Did you know the
bandage you
are wearing is safe
did you know
that you are too afraid and
in doubt
of the naked wound
how saline sweet
if you could alchemize
the hurt into cool waters
and heal from the inside out
dare this damp blood
to flood like the
scorn of a river does
how courageous some of you
with no bandage
to let it exit to evolve into
one big beautiful scar
**on its own
