Why must you pull at that
Thread of your pain
With your callous fingers.
You're unraveling yourself
with your lies of self doubt.

I once held a needle
That could mend your tender spirit...
But, I lost it...

Now that needle rests
Firmly in your palm.
You can use it right now
To sew yourself back up,
But first you need to
Stop pulling that thread.
