Jan 2018
Trees bend to the wind as it flows
Amidst the forest something glows
Ever-seeing eyes shade the branches
I have no more chances
Shadows behind me, they creep
They morph and circle, whispering β€œGo to sleep”
Repeating and never fleeting
I hold one hand to my head and one to my heart
Reality and fantasy is slowly being torn apart
I look around to see that no one is there
Leaving me cold, helpless, and bare
I was alone from the start
But this is just the beginning
