matthew
unspoken words,
years of silence

it is time
to spread my wings

to embrace;

i am transgender
TheSinBin Feb 2018
feel my life
My helplessness
feel my strife
My selflessness
feel my pain
My carelessness
Feel my cage
My voidness

Feel your courage
Your fearlessness
Feel your joy
Your  happiness
Feel your Truth
Your righteousness
Feel your Freedom
Your limitlessness
I wrote this due to how I, like most people, compare themselves to other people. Sometimes you feel the need to want to even become a clone of them; the hardest part in life is letting yourself be yourself.
TheSinBin Feb 2018
A blurred vision
The senses
Feelings of apathy
What could occur?
Your tired, weak body
What a place!
Land of fake beauty
Utter fantasy
Behind the mind
Lies a vision

Back to normal
Boring life
Once a spirit
Now a dim flame
Blown out
Winds of depression
Shake the soul
Back to dreaming
Living a lie
A perfect, little lie
I wrote this poem based off the song Daydreaming from Radiohead

Young and old
Fill your hearts with angst
Be nothing more than a God
Be nothing less than a peasant
See beyond what lies in clear view
Never trust popular opinion
For it will drive you askew
Be as you want
And be as you need
Don’t follow nor lead
At the end you will be of victory

Trees bend to the wind as it flows
Amidst the forest something glows
Ever-seeing eyes shade the branches
I have no more chances
Shadows behind me, they creep
They morph and circle, whispering “Go to sleep”
Repeating and never fleeting
I hold one hand to my head and one to my heart
Reality and fantasy is slowly being torn apart
I look around to see that no one is there
Leaving me cold, helpless, and bare
I was alone from the start
But this is just the beginning

— The End —
