remember the soldiers who had to fight
who died for there country to put it right
so we could be free they went to war
to let us live in peace once more
they died so young and oh so brave
to give there lives and ours to save
they never had a chance to see
the war was won and now were free
a day was given to remember them all
wreaths and poppies and memorials tall
to thank the brave who set us free
who gave there lives so we could be.
