I feel the breeze,
But I also feel the flame.
I’m trapped in a squeeze,
Am I a player or am I in the game?

What role do I play?
Am I the God or am I the pawn?
Where do I lay?
At dusk or ‘til early dawn?

I don’t know what’s happening.
It’s so noisy and cramped.
Am I still playing?
Or am I already ******?

It’s too dark.
I can’t afford to see.
“I just need a spark.”
That’ll be my only plea.

Am I already safe?
I don’t even know.
I feel a little bliss of chafe.
Maybe I’m not at all in control.

Maybe I won’t be ‘til I die.
Still, I must make the final blow.
Where am I?
I don’t know.
