Claire De Lune

I could stand forever in that moonlight,

While my heart grazes like a windless kite.

I could stand forever in that moonlight,

Waiting for a gust or a breeze for flight.

I could stand forever in that moonlight,

As I hope a twister twirls my lone kite.

But I stand forever in this sunrise,

While my kite burns and belongs to eternal night.
