Broken words fell from a shattered smile.
Eyes of ivory turn to fiery sunsets.
The blood was ashamed of him so it ran.
Dirt covered him, like a sad kind of armor.
He lay crumbled on the soil, in tears.
They hit him so he doesn't see the memories.
words cracking in his mouth, he screamed.
Sympathy fell down like rain hiding the sun.
Shame hammered the event into mythology.
With but one shoe, he lay bathed in the light.
Broken, he became me.
