WEB: José Sanjenis Perdomo was a Cuban secret police agent during the rule of Fulgencio Batista who went into exile in the United States after the rise of Fidel Castro to power. As a C.I.A. agent, he provided lists of people related to Batista whom the United States might be able to trust. He later headed the Cuban version of Operation 40. He later found work as a doorman at The Dakota where he witnessed the assassination of John Lennon on December 8, 1980.
