"Single Candle Burning"

A single candle burning shines enough
To dim the darkness of the world we hold
So precious called the i the self the ego
State which craves in ******* ignorance a
Pattern form or shape perceived existent
In some pleasured realm of moments ******-
Physical that once did gaily manifest
Upon the stage of here and now but now
Has past beyond this life to memories
That change the conscious aggregate for ill
Or good a function rightly virtuous
But when we grasp and grasp and ask of such
To yield a spectral nutriment we sow
Wild seeds of discontent that drops the present
Sphere of thought to Stygian depths and aspects
Cruel which can be humbly lifted for
A single candle burning shines enough
