Every woman who comes forward
Needs to be heard
Although their silence
Might be what’s preferred
By the men who take advantage
Though it rarely occurs
That they might clap back
Despite denials and slurs

Every woman who comes forward
Whatever the time
Has every right to report
A long-ago crime
She’s still entitled to
Drop a dime
In an effort to unmask
The unrepentant slime

Every woman who comes forward
Should be listened to
Although that’s what some men
Are reluctant to do
Let’s face it some men
Are missing a *****
And their behavior
Is the only clue

Every woman who comes forward
Emboldens another
Who wouldn’t be talking
If not for the other
It can be scary
For a certain kind of brother
When faced with the bad news
That he’d like to smother
