You went away.
And that's the price I paid.
I forgot to love you.

If only I would have listened.
To the words you said.
I wouldn't be feeling sad now.

It's not the sadness of losing you.
It sadness centered around not fighting to keep you.
I know within my heart.
I forgot to love you.
Which was all you wanted me to do

Oh, how I feel like a foolish fool?

You was the first to state.
That I would be losin' a good thing.
Which came more honest to me.
When you gave me back my ring.

All because.
I forgot to love you.

It wasn't hard.
You didn't ask for too much.
Just some quality time.
Words that flew over my mind.
