It's a noble thing
Sacrifice
But for me
It's my only vice

People throw themselves
In harm's way
For people that might not
Live out the day

You might save their life
You could be a  martyr
Are you willing to risk it?
It's your life to barter

It's senseless to me
To risk your life
Only to die
And cause more strife
