Right now life has got a deadly grip on me
I am afraid I will fall too deep can't you see
She must find me and lend me a hand
And lead me back to the sand
Believe me I am slipping fast
I am strong but how long can I last
My head is just a blur
My heart is torn but what's left is just for her
This grip that life has on me
She needs to grab my hand and set me free
Free from the hold that life has got on me
If I slip anymore I am scared that there will be no return
For the fire in my heart it still burns
So if the sun will continue to shine
She must come and save me and everything will be just fine
Optimistic
