Cairo
and I know it was Cairo because of the pyramids
what I don't know isΒ why I was there,
information is scarcer than water and only the
scorpions sing.

it's always the far flung and out of the way places that you wake up and find yourself in.

Khufu who we knew as Cheops pops up from a hole in the ground, there are
base plates for namesakes and Pharaohs and who knows
there could be one there for me.

so this geezer from Giza says these are
the rules and lays down the law of the land
I take my bucket and ***** and make castles
(there's plenty of sand)
