LEONARD
A change was coming,
We could not wait,
More “SONGS OF LOVE AND HATE”
My friend,
So real,
You were no phony.
“NEW SKIN FOR THE OLD CEREMONY”,
Forever?
Well, I could have been wrong,
"THE FUTURE" does not last too long,
Too quickly the present becomes the past,
No…the future does not last,
How brave you were,
You were no martyr,
You asked us...”DO YOU WANT IT DARKER?”
and we did!
We loved to listen,
Bent in “VARIOUS POSITIONS”,
Your gone,
I have forgiven that,
Still I am bothered by the crack
The one that is left
No damage done,
Imperfect as they come
Its darker now……
Where have you been?
Remind me how the light gets in
