Second Chance
It was the summer,
of 89'.
The weather was beautiful,
so fine.
The wind whispered through my window,
softly.
Kissing my face,
as it blew by.
I rolled over,
and said, "good morning".
But you weren't there,
to my surprise.
Where did I go wrong?
Can we start again?
I never meant any harm.
Is this really the end?
I searched here,
I searched there.
I searched far,
and I searched wide.
And when I finally,
found you.
There was another man,
by your side.
Where did I go wrong?
Can we start again?
I never meant any harm.
Is this really the end?
Can you give me one more chance?
I'll give you all that I am.
I'll do all I can do,
to show I still love you.
