Caught up in emotion
that derailed my common sense.
The loving was too good to deny.
And there was times I tried.

A flirt.
A kiss.
And even a physical touch.
Had me diving into thrills
that derailed my common sense.

Many forbidding affairs happen this way.
When calm reasoning explains many things.
For sure regrets came to my mind.

But that physical loving
just kept derailing my mind.
I was caught up in the feeling.
Of exploring the pleasure game.

You thrill me.
I thrill you.
While we both forsake the golden rules.
