American women have embraced transvestism. A woman wearing trousers & a button-down shirt is a transvestite.

I dreamt a dream, a gloomy affair in which I begged my handlers to
let me see it. I dreamt a dream, in a goofy story but nobody'd let me
find it. I chastised everyone with recriminations and demanded that
they let me have it, because I shall not know till angels let me try it.
