Late into the night I could't decide
If I wanted you or not
Afraid of what the steps backward might mean
And today my motivation
And heart feels a strong amount of slight
Guilt maybe even some regret?

But I know you still love me so good
Even if its not meant to be my good
It was good to see you in my bed
And know this was just a temporary fix.

But I have to let go
Someday really soon.
