She stood 'neath the shower head
The warm water sprayed onto her face
The drops ran down her body like in a race
She hugged her arms across her chest

Soon her hair was hanging down in wet curls
Her skin decorated with droplets of water and steam
Like dark chocolate it looked so sinful, she seemed of a dream
She slowly ran her long fingers through her hair to untangle her curls

Her shampoo was of exotic fruit, of hawaiin palm
Her body soap of vanilla extract and coconut oils
She smelt divine, scent of the fruit of Eden's soils
She stood there, still graceful, beautiful and oh so calm

Eyes closed she imagined the warmth of the water was that of her lost lover
Senses heightened she could almost smell him
She could almost feel his breath on her neck God she missed him
Deep breath she opened her eyes and turned off the water, time to forget her lover

Blue towel wrapped around her beautiful body,
White towel piled a-top her head to dry her hair
She poured herself a glass of wine with such care
Upon her soft satin covered bed she placed her body

Turned on the radio, soft smooth melody of jazz
Sip of wine, savour the taste, eyes closed, deep sigh
Sleep took over her body like a drug to a ****** she felt high
Soon her breathing and heart beat were in tune with the jazz

Relax Lady of Hope 'tis bedtime, relax
The day is done, 'tis okay you can rest
Weep not for your heartbreak just rest
It will be okay, 'tis bedtime dream, relax
