Almost

Your heart races as you watch

Your dreams are so close to reality

You can practically taste them in the air

You reach your hand out to cup your dream

And yet as your fingers curl around what you desire

It becomes liquid

And melts away in the palm of your hand

Leaving nothing

Except for a film of bittersweet memories

I remember those times
