As my third eye opens
what had been seen is truly revealed,
normal people sitting side by side,
with demons that are unseen, yet felt,
as no one enters their location.

Some people glow, an angelic light,
others the raw and oozing black of pestilence,
true nature revealed, though some I wish I had not seen,
in normal sight, the truest beauty is underneath the ugliest,
dangerous and evil.

The soul ******* vampire in the corner,
tries to hide when she realizes she has been seen,
her veil of glamour no longer hides her true nature,
the man on her arm has no idea that he is being fed upon,
slowly, and surely she absorbs his life energy.

The one I try most to ignore, however,
sits on the seat next to me, as every day,
a friend, who doesn't know his true nature,
a sweet friend and husband and father,
who oozes red, and a ghostly knife resides in his hand.

I pray that he never uncovers his true nature,
and the human nurture wins out,
The witchy woman across from me is indeed as described,
she winks at me and grins a knowing smile.
