The Fire Burns
Poems
Aug 2017
Guarded
Silver moon, silver back,
the beast guards her.
Thought, deeds, and evil needs,
lurk in the night.
In moonlight glow, his eyeshine shows,
keeping creatures at bay.
She is naive, and cannot believe,
that he is keeping her safe.
