The Quieted Faith
The quieted race.
Is the quieted faith.
Afraid to speak out on growing hatred from their own race.
If segregation were an option again?
Their fingers be upon the button to make it return again.
The quieted race has always hid behind this word called "faith".
White flight just didn't arise for an unknown reason.
Evangelicals hiding now.
Supporting a bigot leader putting others down.
God put fools in places to be known.
Like that saying, you make a fool of yourself only when you speak.
So I guess the quieted race will always be the quieted faith.
Secluded without a voice to challenge authorities.
Afraid others will judge them harshly.
****! many of us work with them.
