Complex animals,
parenthetically simple beings.

skeletal frames that hold inside the
beating rhythms of life
and life itself holding on to
the frames which fix together
the flesh,

We're diagnosed from birth
withΒ death and
there's no cure for it yet,
but
living forever doesn't look
like a good bet
either.
