If I could - I'd take all time
To immortalise thy grace - in rhyme
If I could - I'd traverse Earth
To seize thy Heart for immutable worth
If I could - I'd raise my voice
In your sublime touch rejoice
But I cannot - our Hearts not wed
That callous smear of what you said

If you would - would you give care?
Shroud me in a loving air
If you would - would you too sing
For us! Most cherishable of things
If you would, would you give
Let me in your generosity live
But you would not - for do you care?
For Heart! And what consists in there

I think we ought to go away,
Soar, take flight in brighter day
