i kept extinguishing my ciagarette on my hand,
i admit, it took several attempts,
it even took a second cigarette,
but i managed to do so in the end...
i licked my hand, and then started
proding...
       once the cigarette was
extinguished and what remained
of the ash, i licked it off...
        and what i found?
the nerve endings incompassing
pain, are not much different for
those incompassing pleasure...
as one girl said to me:
it's actually pleasurable to feel pain:
rather than expect pleasure;
i guess that's two ways of writing:
expectance.
lovliest of fathomable takes to a cigarette...
esp. when your (right) hand ends
                   up being an ash-tray.
