I dream of laying on your knee
While you softly read me poetry
A quiet corner in the park
As daytime fizzles in to dark
Sharing Italian red wine
Before I take you out to dine
Somewhere quiet and unassuming
With a jazz musician crooning
Today has ended far to fast
We both wanted it to longer last
Should I book a nice hotel?
I want to stay under your spell
I go ahead and book the room
Where we promise only to talk and spoon
Spooning leads to touching
I admit it's what I was lusting
Now we're here wrapped in white sheet
Can I lay on your chest and drift of to sleep?
Gibberish jotting
